As Jin felled each of the monsters, one after the other, he became less and less aware of anything save the fighting. His blood was boiling in an intensity that he had never felt before, or at least he would have thought so if he wasn't getting so much enjoyment tearing through their bodies. He felt explosive power behind each of his blows, and the way the world appeared to move so slowly caused him to react with greater speed and frustration. Finally, the creatures were dead, and Jin's blood was, gradually, beginning to cool. All he could do was regulate his breathing while listening to the silence, expecting another one to show up any minute. Everyone had watched with a level of awe and fear. Jin no longer seemed like his calm self, but something entirely different. Something that seemed to care for nothing save carnage. After a what felt like an eternity of listening to Jin breathe in and out, Shinji finally spoke up. Shinji: ... Um, Jin? Jin's breathing suddenly became more relaxed. His blank yet fixed and furious gaze became focused and tired as he looked up. Jin: What? Did you see something? Shinji: ... N, no, it's nothing. Jin gave a loud sigh as he finally stood back into his normal relaxed stance. He massaged his wrists a little as he began to look around again.
