Custom 1926 T Street Rod This is a custom built 1927 T. The basis for this build was to achieve a drop dead sleek low to ground Hot Rod. This is no Rat Rod please never call a car like this a Rat Rod this is a car that you can drive any where it draws crowds every where it goes it is a multiply trophy winner and can be found in the Good Guys Gazette Joliet issue. Detail and symmetry was major factor of this one off build, never to be duplicated, every thing was proportionate to follow the natural lines of the body to make it flow .Look at the angles of the custom made pick up bed compared to rear of the body the height is proportionate to the length .I'm sure you have seen bad rat rods that are to long with incorrect steering geometry sit to low that you cant drive them they look out of shape, looks like stuff was just thrown on it with left over parts. This build was figured and calculated before one cut was ever made, it handles like a go cart with low center of gravity and perfect weight distribution. At 70 mph it glides down the road like on a string all I can say if FUN FUN FUN with a capital F We started out with a rust free donor body from a 27 T four door see pictures it was sectioned and chopped to resemble a crew cab. It has the same dimensions inside of a Model "A" Coupe Structure is as solid as a brick wall.
