"Nate what does the mall have to do with my surprise?" I ask as we walked into the mall. "You aren't very patient are you?" he asked laughing. "Not really," I say. "You like scavenger hunts?" he asks. I raise an eyebrow, "I guess. Why?" "Because that's how you find your surprise silly. I know you don't know your way around San Diego so you just have to find your way around the mall. I'll text you the clues. Have fun," he says kissing my forehead then disappearing into the crowds of people leaving me standing there dumbstruck. Sure enough my phone went off a few second later. Clue #1: There's a fountain in the center of the mall. Find it. To the right there is a map of the mall. Look on the back of the map. It took me about five minutes to find the fountain and to find a key taped to the back of the map. If this was how the entire scavenger hunt was gonna be this was way too easy. About a minute after I found the key my phone went off again. Clue #2: A little too easy right? let's switch things up. Keep the key, you'll need it. Look on the map for the store you'd most likely find me shopping in and pick out the thing I most likely find me wearing. I spoke too soon when I said this was easy.
